French player Theo Hernandez, the left-back of Italian club AC Milan, is on the verge of officially joining Saudi club Al-Hilal after undergoing a medical checkup in the French capital, Paris, in preparation for completing his transfer in the summer transfer window of 2025.

According to reports from the global network "Sky Sports", Hernandez underwent medical tests in the past few hours as part of the final procedures for his transfer to the leader, after a complete agreement between the player and the club on all details.

The president of Al-Hilal, Fahd bin Nafel, was recently in Paris to finalize the deal officially, as Al-Hilal's management reached an agreement with AC Milan to sign Hernandez for 25 million euros.

Al-Hilal is expected to announce the deal within hours, as Theo will sign a contract that extends until the summer of 2028, making him the first foreign signing for Al-Hilal in the ongoing summer transfer market under the new coach Simone Inzaghi.

Notably, the French player initially rejected the idea of moving to the Saudi league after internal family discussions, before later changing his stance and giving the green light for the deal after receiving a huge financial offer from Al-Hilal's management.

Al-Hilal's management aims to strengthen the team with a major attacking player in the upcoming phase, especially after failing to reach an agreement with Nigerian Victor Osimhen, the Napoli striker, who is close to transferring to Turkish Galatasaray.
