Despite Galatasaray Talks, Maignan Refuses Move to Turkish League
Italian media reports have stated that Turkish club Galatasaray has shown interest in signing French goalkeeper Mike Maignan, a player for Milan, during the ongoing summer transfer window.
The website "Football Italia" clarified that the Turkish club's vice president has already communicated with Maignan's representatives in the past to try to convince him to move to Galatasaray this summer.
The report confirmed that the 30-year-old French goalkeeper has completely ruled out the idea of playing in the Turkish league at this time, preferring to continue with the Rossoneri.
Maignan joined Milan in 2021 from French club Lille and participated in 53 matches with the team last season, keeping a clean sheet in 15 of those games, contributing to Milan's victory in the Italian league title for the 2021/2022 season.
