Officially.. Monastir announces its new coach
The Tunisian Monastir Sports Club announced via its account on the X platform that it has contracted with the national coach Montasser Wahishi to take over the position of head coach of the first team.
The club stated in its tweet: "Montasser Wahishi is the new coach of the Monastir Club," without revealing the duration of his contract with the club.
Wahishi will coach the Monastir team following the departure of coach Fawzi Benzarti, who left the club on July 3, after mutually terminating his contract with the club.
Akram Matouk will be the first assistant coach, while Ayman Moussa will be the second assistant to the coach. Shams Eddin Al-Qinoubli will handle physical preparation alongside Anas Nabi, while Safwan Al-Haidari will train the goalkeepers.
