The young Portuguese defender Antonio Silva, a player for Benfica, rejected a lucrative financial offer from Saudi club Al Hilal to join them during this summer's transfer market.

The Portuguese newspaper "A Bola" reported that Al Hilal offered Silva an annual salary of 7 million euros to join their ranks, but the Portuguese star declined this offer.

The newspaper indicated that Silva, who is 21 years old, expressed his desire to stay in Europe and continue to develop in European leagues, as he considers himself to be in the early stages of his career and does not wish to move to the Saudi league at this time.
