Napoli, the Italian league champion, is close to signing Spanish right-back Juanlo Sanchez from Sevilla, according to journalist Alfredo Pedulla.

Pedulla states that Napoli has continued to work on signing the player, following a swift move a few weeks ago, relying on the player's strong desire to join.

Now, as pointed out, they can finalize the last steps of the deal with Sevilla for a total transfer fee of 15 million euros, including bonuses, and Sevilla's attempts to raise the asking price have been surpassed.

He noted that Napoli, however, chooses to wait, as their priority remains to finalize negotiations for players they consider priorities.
