Bayern Munich Suspends Negotiations for Woltmeier's Transfer
German journalist Christian Falk revealed the latest information regarding the potential transfer of Stuttgart star Nick Woltmeier to Bayern Munich.
According to Falk, Bayern and Stuttgart have agreed to suspend negotiations for the contract with Nick Woltmeier after several communications between the two clubs.
It was agreed not to submit any written offers while Bayern is in the United States participating in the Club World Cup.
The atmosphere between Bayern and Stuttgart has improved, as Falk noted, following a phone call between Bayern's sporting director Max Eberl and his Stuttgart counterpart Fabian Wohlgemuth.
Bayern's CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen has also maintained communication with Alexander Wehrle, the CEO of Stuttgart. No figures have been mentioned in the discussions so far. Stuttgart is now seeking to reach an internal agreement on the amount they will request.
