Spanish media reports have revealed the situation of Dani Ceballos, a Real Madrid player, regarding a return to his former club Real Betis during the summer transfer window, amid his absence from the royal team's starting lineup.

Ceballos joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2017 from Betis, and his name has recently been linked to a return to the Andalusian club, but the Spanish newspaper "AS" confirmed that this scenario has become more complicated than ever due to Real Betis' financial difficulties in negotiating with Real Madrid.

The newspaper explained that the 28-year-old Spanish player is convinced of his ability to persuade the new coach Xabi Alonso to secure a place for him in the team’s lineup, despite appearing as a substitute in several matches during the 2025 Club World Cup.

It is worth noting that Ceballos, who is 28 years old, has a contract with Real Madrid until the summer of 2027, and he participated in 44 matches last season across various competitions, during which he provided two assists.
