Saudi Clash for Flamengo Striker
Thursday 03-07-2025
Brazilian media reports have revealed that the Saudi clubs Al-Riyadh and Al-Najma have submitted two official offers to acquire the Brazilian Flamengo striker, Juninho Vieira, on loan during the current transfer window.

The offers include a financial value described by those close to the player as 'good', reflecting the seriousness of the Saudi clubs in signing the young striker to strengthen their squads for the new season 2025-2026.

According to Brazilian journalist Vini Casagrande, player Juninho is positively considering the idea of moving to one of the two Saudi teams, believing that experiencing the Saudi league could be a remarkable step in his career.

Despite the player's welcoming attitude towards the idea, Juninho's representatives have confirmed that reaching an agreement with Flamengo will not be easy, given the Brazilian club's insistence on its rights and its desire to secure the best possible deal.

Flamengo's management has not made a decision yet, but they are carefully studying the two offers, especially since the financial compensation is good and could contribute to loaning the player to gain more experience in a strong league like the Saudi league.
