The Italian coach Simone Inzaghi confirmed that his team's match against Manchester City was extremely difficult, pointing out that Al-Hilal appeared in an amazing manner.

Inzaghi said in the press conference after the match: "We had an amazing match against a strong and difficult team that excels in possession, but we played with determination and strength until we managed to score 4 goals, and we achieved victory in the end."
He added: "I thank the players for their performance, especially Marcos Leonardo and Renan Lodi. I hope we enter the next match fully prepared, as we suffered from difficult circumstances due to the injuries of Salem Al-Dawsari and Hassan Tambakti, but we have a wonderful roster of players."
He continued: "We will face a difficult team that managed to outperform Inter Milan, but we need to work on our fitness. We should celebrate today, then start preparing for the next match."
He went on: "I am very happy that we made the fans of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia happy. I thank the staff who have been with me for 10 years, and they have succeeded in doing amazing work in a short period regarding the technical and tactical aspects."
Regarding his relationship with Pep Guardiola, the City coach, he said: "He is a wonderful person; he came to congratulate me on this victory, he is undoubtedly the best coach in the world."
He described the victory over City, saying: "It was as if we climbed a mountain without oxygen, but the credit goes to the players who fought and played from their hearts, as they gave everything they had, even the substitutes added a lot to the team."
