Rodri Undergoes Surgery in Madrid

Journalist Rodra has revealed that Manchester City and Spain midfielder Rodri is currently in the Spanish capital, Madrid, where he will undergo surgery on Monday to treat his back injury.

According to Rudra's post on X, the player is expected to be out of action for several weeks to recover and complete his rehabilitation program before returning to competition.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid continues to work on signing Rodri during the current summer transfer window, as he is considered one of their top targets to strengthen the midfield, while negotiations regarding his future with Manchester City are ongoing.

Multiple reports have confirmed that Real Madrid has an agreement with Rodri regarding his personal terms, while the royal club has yet to begin negotiations with Manchester City over the transfer fee.

Rodri's contract with Manchester City is set to expire in the summer of 2027, and he is attracting interest from several clubs, most notably Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona.
