Carvajal: Ready to Compete, Willing to Play as a Goalkeeper
Monday 30-06-2025
Dani Carvajal, the star of Real Madrid, confirmed his complete recovery from the injury that had kept him away from the royal team for a full 9 months.

The Spanish star said: "Personally, I feel very good, I am already in the group dynamic, I don't know if I will start, but I will be able to sit on the bench and be at the coach's disposal."

He added: "The team is looking forward to the start of tomorrow's match, the most important stage, if we lose we go home, so the team is focused on giving its best effort."

He continued: "Playing as a center-back in a 3-5-2 formation? I have no problem playing wherever Xabi wants me, even if I have to play as a goalkeeper."

He followed: "Al-Hilal put us in a difficult position, then we overcame Pachuca early with ten players. Tomorrow's opponent is stronger than the previous matches. Everything is coming together, a stronger opponent, and the knockout stage."

He added: "I know myself well, as I give everything I have, I have overcome the fear of playing and participating, if I play I will give my all, after being absent for 9 months, I believe I am ready to compete again."

He emphasized: "I suffered from the injury at a more mature stage in my career. Thanks to my family and my children, it was a great comfort. I had to face it from day one, and I go through gradual stages."

He concluded: "Last year, due to injuries, we lacked a player like Joselu, but I see Gonzalo Garcia fully ready. He is giving us a lot; if the club decides to let him take on this role, he will bring us success."
