Monday 30-06-2025
The Saudi Al Hilal Club has revealed the latest developments regarding the medical condition of several of its players, ahead of the anticipated match against English Manchester City in the Round of 16 of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

Al Hilal clarified that star player Salem Al-Dosari has started a treatment program that will last for more than 6 weeks after suffering an injury to the hamstring, and he will complete part of the treatment later in Riyadh. Meanwhile, the trio of Mitrovic, Abdulilah Al-Malki, and Abdullah Al-Hamdan continue their rehabilitation programs to recover from various injuries.

The condition of midfielder Musab Al-Juwair has shown significant improvement in his knee injury, making his participation in the upcoming match a viable option for coach Simone Inzaghi. Earlier, the club had announced Al-Juwair's absence from Friday's training due to feeling pain in the knee.

Al-Juwair's return is good news for Inzaghi, who is already missing the attacking duo of Salem Al-Dosari and Mitrovic. It is noteworthy that Al-Juwair has not missed any match for Al Hilal in the tournament so far, having played limited minutes against Real Madrid, Salzburg, and Pachuca.

It is worth mentioning that Al-Juwair (22 years old) played 35 matches last season wearing the Al Hilal jersey in various competitions, during which he scored 5 goals and provided 11 assists, reflecting his value as an influential substitute in midfield.
