Majdi Talba, the former Al Ahly star, confirmed that Wissam Abu Ali, the player of the Red team, is better than Mostafa Mohamed, the star of Nantes in France.

Talba said during the "Al-Breymo" program on "Ten" channel: "I do not understand the reason for even considering Wissam Abu Ali leaving Al Ahly and signing another player, whose success is not guaranteed. The team needs to maintain its core structure for the new season and not let go of any player to return to the continental podiums."

He added: "All the options proposed to strengthen Al Ahly's attack are not at the level and capabilities of Wissam Abu Ali, including Mostafa Mohamed, the national team's striker and Nantes player, as well as Osama Faisal from the National Bank team. Despite Mostafa Mohamed being in one of the top five leagues, I see that Wissam Abu Ali excels in skill and scoring ability."

He continued: "Al Ahly needs to strengthen its defense before the start of the new season, and I wish Hossam Ashour's loan from Al Wakrah in Qatar to be extended, as he plays this position better than all the current defenders of Al Ahly."
