Real Madrid is nearing the official announcement of the renewal of its Brazilian star Vinicius Junior's contract, extending his stay with the team until the summer of 2030, according to the Spanish newspaper "Marca".

The newspaper indicated that negotiations between the two parties have been ongoing for several months, with the player's agent meeting with the club's general director in Madrid, and all details have been agreed upon, with a decision made to keep them confidential until the end of the season to avoid any impact on the team's performance.

Vinicius' agent is currently in the United States to follow the Club World Cup, and with the general director of Real Madrid present with the team in the same location, a decisive meeting is expected to take place in the coming days to finalize the agreement officially, especially with the imminent return of president Florentino Perez to attend the Round of 16 match.

Marca clarified that the player has shown great calm regarding his future and confirmed his desire to remain with the royal club, which was evident in his statements following the Salzburg match, where he was awarded the Man of the Match.

The newspaper confirmed that the renewal of Vinicius' contract is not the only one expected at Real Madrid, as both Brahim Diaz and Thibaut Courtois are also awaiting the resolution of their contract renewals in the upcoming period.
