Ahmed Suleiman: The Abundance of Stars at Al Ahly May Negatively Affect the Team
Ahmed Suleiman, a member of the board of directors of Zamalek Club, confirmed that the abundance of stars in Al Ahly's squad will negatively affect the team.
Suleiman stated in remarks via MBC Masr channel: "The current Al Ahly roster could be a danger to the team due to the number of stars. If the coach's personality is not strong and he is not affected by the bench, like what happened before with a player in the Egyptian Super Cup who went to Libya now (Kahraba), a problem occurred."
He added: "All these factors will affect the team's success, and I doubt that the current Al Ahly management (headed by Mahmoud El Khatib) is strong; time will prove this."
Al Ahly succeeded in winning the Egyptian League title last season.
