The club stated through its official accounts on social media: "The Board of Directors of Modern Sport Club, headed by Dr. Walid Daabiss, announces the completion of the contract with Captain Magdy Abdel Aati to take over the responsibility of coaching the first football team, as part of the club's development plan during the upcoming phase."
Modern Sport was on the verge of relegation last season before it was canceled.
