Sources from the "Al-Riyadiyah" newspaper reported that the deal was completed for an undisclosed amount, including a clause that grants Al-Ettifaq 20% of the value of any future sale of the player if he transfers from Birmingham later.

Gray joined the Eastern team from Everton in September 2023, on a contract that extends until 2027, before the club decided to part ways with him after just two seasons.

During his time with "The Nawaqitha," the Jamaican winger participated in 48 matches across various competitions, scoring four goals and providing five assists, and he had a notable presence in the Roshan League matches last season.

In the last season, Gray played 23 matches with Al-Ettifaq, including 22 matches in the Roshan League, while he only participated in one match in the King Abdulaziz Cup, before returning to English football through Birmingham.
