Bayer Leverkusen Rejects Milan's Offer for Xhaka
Italian media reports revealed that AC Milan made an official offer to sign Swiss midfielder Granit Xhaka, the star of Bayer Leverkusen, during the summer transfer window, but the German club rejected the offer.
According to the website "MilanNews", Milan offered 10 million euros for Xhaka's services, but Leverkusen considered the offer to be below the player's financial valuation, demanding a higher amount to complete the deal.
Leverkusen also rejected the inclusion of Milan defender Malick Thiaw in a swap deal, as the player does not fit into the German team's interests, which has other defensive targets in its summer plans.
In this context, Milan, under the leadership of coach Massimiliano Allegri, continues to work on strengthening its squad, as it seeks to sign Croatian Luka Modric and is negotiating with Valencia to acquire the young midfielder Javi Guerra, who is 22 years old.
