The Uncertainty Surrounding Gibbs White's Future with Nottingham Amid Premier League Interest
Friday 20-06-2025
The British newspaper "Daily Mail" revealed that the uncertainty surrounding the future of Morgan Gibbs White, the Nottingham Forest playmaker, continues despite his name being recently linked to a move to Manchester City during the summer transfer window.

The newspaper indicated that City management hesitated to pay the asking price from Nottingham, which is around £70 million, prompting the club to focus on signing Ryan Cherki and Tijjani Reijnders instead, especially with the limited time preparing for the team's participation in the Club World Cup.

Nevertheless, Gibbs White remains open to the idea of playing for Manchester City alongside his close friend Phil Foden, although the club's position on resuming negotiations has yet to be determined.

Gibbs White has a contract with Nottingham that extends until the summer of 2027, with a weekly salary of £60,000, and there is currently no agreement for renewal, despite interest from other clubs like Liverpool and Tottenham in acquiring him.
