Declan Rice, the star of Arsenal, was awarded the best goal of the team's 2024/2025 season for his remarkable goal against Real Madrid during the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.

The London club announced on its official website that Rice won the award after receiving 7,029 votes in a fan poll, where his free-kick goal against goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois was chosen as the best, having scored in the same manner twice during the match.

Rice contributed to Arsenal's 3-0 victory over Real Madrid at the Emirates Stadium, making the return leg easier, which ended with the Gunners winning 2-1.

The English team succeeded in advancing to the semifinals with an aggregate score of 5-1 over the two legs, before being eliminated from the tournament by Paris Saint-Germain.
