The coach of Paris Saint-Germain, Luis Enrique, appeared in press statements after the 4-0 victory over Atletico Madrid in the first round of the group stage of the Club World Cup.

He said: "Our goal was to maintain focus. It has been a very long season, but when I watch the training sessions, I find a great enthusiasm among the players."

He added: "We are happy with the match, a difficult match in this hot weather. I think we played a very good game."

He continued: "Do the players always excel in movements? This is one of the characteristics of this team that we have improved since the first day we arrived. Movement is important, but you have to know when to make these movements."

He added: "I think we played well today because it was difficult to exert effort in this heat that affected everything."

Regarding the substitutes' ability to score and managing the group, he said: "This is the ambition of the players. It is good to see that as a coach, but I think everyone is ready; we work as one team. This is the way to develop and grow."
