Ahmed Hassan Praises Al Ahly's Transfers and Trezeguet's Development
Ahmed Hassan, the former Zamalek star, spoke in television statements about his opinion on Al Ahly's recent transfers.
He said through "On Time Sports" channel: "Trezeguet's joining Al Ahly was a surprise for me; the player has high technical abilities, and there has been a clear development in his level recently, especially in terms of scoring."
He added: "Trezeguet is now more mature and has the ability to make a difference in tough matches, which makes him the most important signing among the recent contracts."
Regarding the star Ahmed Zizo, Ahmed Hassan said: "Zizo is a great and influential player, but it is difficult for him to participate against Pachuca due to his late arrival at the team's camp and not having played matches for a while."
He stated that Zizo might participate in part of the match if Al Ahly coach Rivero decides to take the risk.
He praised Aliou Dieng, saying: "Dieng is one of the strongest midfield players, and I trusted his abilities even before he left; his return represents a strong addition to the team."
