Sunday 08-06-2025
Florentino Perez, President of Real Madrid, expressed his great pride in the club members who have completed 50 and 60 years of continuous loyalty during the 2025 Honorary Badge Award Ceremony, affirming that their sacrifices were a key reason for making Real Madrid the most loved and admired club in the world.

Perez said: "You have given everything to this club, and you have achieved something extremely difficult, for Real Madrid to become the most loved and admired sports institution in the world. Real Madrid would not be what it is today without your efforts, sacrifices, and work. These golden badges, and the diamond-studded gold ones that you will receive, are a symbol of what you represent for this club."

He added: "We are a big family, and our unity is the source of our great strength. This unity is what has enabled us to face the great challenges in our history, and it is what gives us the institutional stability necessary to achieve accomplishments. We have over 630 million followers around the world; Real Madrid is part of people's hearts because belonging to this club is a way of life, and it means never giving up."

The president of the royal club also touched on sports affairs, saying: "A year ago, Real Madrid won its fifteenth title in the Champions League at Wembley Stadium. This season, our team succeeded in winning the sixth European Super Cup title and the Intercontinental Cup, reaching its ninth global title."

Perez concluded his statements by saying: "As you know, we at this club aspire for more, and now, we feel excited again to participate in the Club World Cup that will be held in the United States."
