Zizo: Saudi Youth Wanted to Sign Me for 7 Million Dollars
The star Ahmed Sayed Zizo, who recently joined Al-Ahly of Egypt, confirmed that Al-Shabab club negotiated with him to sign him for 7 million dollars.
Zizo said via MBC Masr channel: "Al-Shabab made an official offer to Zamalek club last summer to sign me for nearly 7 million dollars, but the club refused to let me leave."
He added: "Steven Gerrard, the former coach of Al-Ittifaq, spoke to me on the phone and informed me of his need for my efforts with the team before his departure, and expressed his admiration for what I provide, and I was not at all opposed and left the matter to the Zamalek management."
