Behind the Scenes of Zamalek Club Board Meeting
The media personality Khaled Al-Ghandour revealed the behind-the-scenes details of the Zamalek Club's board meeting, which was attended by the club's president, Hussein Labib, in his first appearance after returning from medical leave.
Al-Ghandour said on the "Stad Al-Mehwar" program: "The meeting focused primarily on the football file, especially the preparations for the summit match against Al-Ahly scheduled for Friday, considering it a pivotal match in the league journey."
He added: "The council discussed all the details related to preparing for the match, both technically and administratively, in an attempt to provide a stable environment for the team."
He continued: "Travel advances for the team's delegation, which will head to Algeria on May 6th in preparation for facing USM Alger in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup final, have also been approved, as part of preparing everything early."
He continued: "Notably, during the meeting, there were no discussions regarding the players' financial dues, nor the registration file, and indoor games were not addressed at all, despite their importance to the club."
Zamalek is preparing to face its traditional rival Al Ahly tomorrow, Friday, in the fifth round of the title-deciding stage of the Egyptian Premier League.
