Al-Ahli Approaches Renewal of Mughrashi's Contract Amid Minor Dispute
Saturday 07-06-2025
The management of Al-Ahli Club has entered advanced stages of negotiations with Ali Mughrashi, the right-back of the first team, aiming to renew his contract before he enters the free period that allows him to sign with any club.

The Al-Ahli management has intensified its efforts in recent days to finalize the renewal of Mughrashi's contract, as they seek to keep him within the team, but some financial details have delayed the official signing.

According to informed sources, the Al-Ahli management has offered the player a new contract extending for three seasons, while Mughrashi insists on a four-season contract with an increase in the financial offer by one million riyals.

Despite this disparity, sources suggest that a soon agreement is likely, especially since Mughrashi has expressed a strong desire to continue with the Jeddah team and achieve more accomplishments.

Ali Mughrashi joined Al-Ahli in January 2022 on a four-year contract that ends in early 2026, and since then he has played 96 matches, including 41 matches last season, and 12 matches in the AFC Champions League, which Al-Ahli won for the first time in its history.
