In a football evening during the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, the Jordanian national team achieved a valuable victory over its Omani counterpart with a clean three-goal score, in the match held on Thursday evening at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex.

Player Ali Alwan shone remarkably in the match, managing to score two goals, the first of which came from a penalty in the 45+7 minute, before he returned to add the second in the 51st minute after a decisive pass from Yazan Al-Naimat, confirming his team's superiority in the second half.

The Nashama did not settle for two goals, but added the third goal in the 64th minute through Ali Alwan, who received a perfect pass from Al-Tamari, placing the ball in the net and extinguishing Oman's hopes of returning to the match.

With this victory, Jordan raised its tally to 16 points at the top temporarily, the same as South Korea, which will play against Iraq tonight, while Oman remained at 10 points in fourth place.

If South Korea wins tonight against Iraq, the Jordanian national team will officially qualify for the World Cup.
