Carvajal stated in press remarks to the Spanish newspaper "Marca": "On the day I leave Real Madrid or we mutually decide not to continue, I would like to experience a league outside of Europe, and the American league is one of the options for me."
The Real Madrid defender talked about the Club World Cup, saying: "It is a new and wonderful tournament as its name suggests, featuring the best teams in the world, and I believe we at the club are very excited about it."
He added: "The Club World Cup brings together different football styles from multiple continents, which gives it a special and distinctive character."
Carvajal concluded his remarks by saying: "This year we faced teams like Pachuca and Salzburg, and we have this experience to benefit from, and we are eagerly looking forward to our first matches in the tournament."
