The Spanish club Barcelona has officially announced the departure of its player Alex Valle to the ranks of Italian club Como, after the latter paid the buyout clause included in the player's contract.

Barcelona clarified in an official statement via its website and social media accounts that Como paid an amount of 6 million euros, which is the value of the buyout clause, thus officially ending Valle's association with the Catalan club.

The statement concluded with a farewell message, in which Barcelona said: "We wish Alex Valle all the best in his future both personally and professionally."

Valle's transfer to the Italian league is an important step in his professional career, especially since he is one of the most prominent rising talents, and he has shown remarkable development during the past period, making him a target for several European clubs.
