Sultan Al-Faraj, the former captain of Al-Hilal and current player for Neom, confirmed that last season was one of the worst in the club's history, criticizing the delay in the dismissal of Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus.

Al-Faraj stated in his remarks: "Al-Hilal's season was extremely poor, and I consider it one of the worst seasons in the team's history, especially during the second half of the Roshen League."

He added: "I did not expect Al-Hilal to perform at this level, and the significant decline in performance was shocking."

He continued: "The club's management was late in dismissing Jorge Jesus, and the timing of his departure was inappropriate, but I was pleased to see the task assigned to Mohammed Al-Shalhoub."

He pointed out: "Jorge Jesus's convictions had a significant impact; his beliefs made his first season remarkable, but in the second season, they led to a significant decline in the team."
