Shakhtar Donetsk has officially announced the appointment of Turkish Arda Turan as head coach until the summer of 2027.
Turan replaces Croatian Marino Pusic, who left Shakhtar earlier this month.
This is Turan's second coaching experience at the age of 38, after previously coaching Eyüpspor in Turkey from 2023 to 2025.
Turan was one of the most important stars of Turkish football over the last two decades, having played for Atletico Madrid and then Barcelona.
