Sunday 25-05-2025
Trent Alexander-Arnold appeared in press statements after the 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace in the latest round of the Premier League.

The player, who played his last match in the Reds' jersey before leaving, said: "I didn't know what to expect from the fans today after what happened a few weeks ago when I walked into Anfield. I wanted to play for the club again. I told the coach, and he trusted me to go on the pitch at halftime."

He added: "The reaction I received from the fans means everything to me. I have played hundreds of matches for the club. I have never felt this much love and care as I feel today. From the bottom of my heart, I hope that the fans of this club one day appreciate the hard work and everything I have given to the team."

He continued: "Not a day or a minute has gone by without me thinking about the team. From the age of six to now, twenty-six. Twenty years is a very long time. I have enjoyed every moment of it, with all its ups and downs. It has been an honor and a privilege to be part of this club."

He emphasized: "I will remember these moments for the rest of my life, especially on a day like this. It is the best day of my life. A very special day and a very significant achievement for the team and the club."

Regarding what it means to play for Liverpool: "Everything. As I said, I have given my all."
