Ahmed Shoubir congratulated former Al Ahly star Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool star, on winning the Best Player award in the English Premier League.

Shoubir stated in radio comments: "Mohamed Salah is the best player in the English Premier League from the English Premier League Association. Salah is truly performing miracles, and Egypt has not had a representative in its history like Mohamed Salah."

He added: "My feeling and personal belief is that we do not give Mohamed Salah his due because what Salah has done for Egypt deserves a statue, and he must be honored with the highest and best recognition. Congratulations, Salah."

Shoubir concluded: "Unfortunately, he lost the European Golden Shoe after Mbappe scored two goals with Real Madrid in yesterday's match."
