Reports have revealed the status of Markus Leonardo, the star of Al-Hilal, regarding the upcoming match against Al-Qadisiyah.
Al-Hilal will face Al-Qadisiyah next Monday in the 34th and final round of the Saudi Professional League.
The Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah" stated that Leonardo has entered the final phase of his rehabilitation program as of Friday.
The player had sustained an injury during his team's training before the match against Al-Urooba in the 31st round of the league.
The newspaper confirmed that Al-Hilal's coaching staff decided to exclude the player from the Al-Qadisiyah match to maintain his full readiness for upcoming commitments, most notably the FIFA Club World Cup, which will take place next June.
