Ancelotti: It was an honor for me to coach Real Madrid, and my experience was wonderful
Carlo Ancelotti spoke to Real Madrid fans at his farewell ceremony, following the end of the match against Sociedad, at the conclusion of the Spanish league, at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
The coach said: "It has been an honor for me to coach this club, this team. I would like to thank, first of all, my dear president Florentino Perez. It has been wonderful to coach this group of outstanding players. It was great to share all these moments with you."
He added: "It has been a wonderful experience to live this story with you. A wonderful story, as no one can forget Karim's three goals against Paris Saint-Germain, nor Rodrygo's goal against Manchester City, nor Luka's decisive assist against Chelsea, nor Joselu's goal. I also cannot forget every day I spent here."
He concluded: "I will end my speech with 'Hala Madrid' only! I love you all."
