Sports critic Khaled Talaat confirmed that the Zamalek team has not won any local championships for a thousand days.
Khaled Talaat stated on Facebook: "Zamalek completes a thousand days in total without winning any local championship. The last local championship Zamalek won was the Premier League title on August 22, 2022, which is 33 months ago (a thousand days in total)."
He added: "During this period, 12 local championships were held (3 leagues, 3 Egypt Cups, 4 Egyptian Super Cups, and 2 League Cups), and Zamalek lost all of them without winning any title."
Zamalek is preparing to face Petrojet today in the eighth round of the decisive phase of the Egyptian Premier League.
