Iraqi Union: The Korea Match is the Key to Advancing Against Jordan and Fans are Called to Support

The Director of the Media Office of the Iraqi Football Association, Youssef Fa'al, announced that the training camp for the Iraqi national team will start on the 25th of this month in the Basra Sports City, in preparation for the matches against South Korea and Jordan in the final qualifiers for the World Cup.

Fa'al confirmed in official statements that Australian coach Graham Arnold has shown great determination to hold the camp, given the importance of enhancing tactical cohesion among the players, both defensively and offensively, considering that the match against Korea will be the psychological key to the match against Jordan.

He added that Arnold has precise knowledge of the South Korean team and believes that the Iraqi national team is among the best Asian teams currently, pointing to his great confidence in the players and their ability to please the fans and achieve qualification.

He explained that the professional players will join the camp successively according to their commitments with their clubs, and their arrival times have been precisely scheduled to ensure the completion of the squad before the anticipated match, while the delegation will stay at the Sports City Hotel to provide ideal conditions in terms of stability, transportation, and complete focus.

Fa'al concluded his remarks by emphasizing that all logistical and technical capabilities are available to support the camp, and that public and media interaction will be a decisive factor in motivating the players and achieving the dream of qualifying for the World Cup.
