Senegalese Ibrahim Niani, the forward for the French team Angers, has been suspended for two years for doping, according to L'Equipe newspaper.

According to the newspaper, the player's drug test result was positive for ecstasy, which is a banned substance for athletes.

He was unable to justify the presence of this substance before the French Anti-Doping Agency, and thus the penalty was confirmed.

It is worth noting that the 26-year-old player will leave Angers at the end of this season.
