Angers Officially Signs Amin Wazzani on Loan from Sporting Braga
Angers has officially announced the signing of Moroccan forward Ameen Wazzani from Sporting Braga on loan until the end of the 2026-2027 season, as the club aims to strengthen its attacking options ahead of the new season.
The French club confirmed in its official statement that the deal was completed on a one-season loan basis, with no clause granting Angers the right to buy the player outright. This means that Wozniak will return to Braga at the end of the loan period unless a new agreement is reached between the two parties.
Wazani returns to Ligue 1 after a stint with Sporting Braga, which he joined in the summer of 2024 from Guingamp. However, a decline in his appearances last season led the Portuguese club to agree to loan him out in order to gain regular playing time and regain his form.
Angers hopes that the Moroccan striker will be a strong addition to their front line, benefiting from his previous experience in French stadiums, where he previously shone in the Guingamp jersey before moving to the Portuguese league.
