Osimhen Rejects Move to Juventus
Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, on loan from Napoli to Galatasaray, has rejected a formal offer from Juventus to join them during the summer transfer window of 2025, according to Italian media reports.
Osimhen moved to Galatasaray last September on loan without a purchase option, following sharp disagreements with Napoli's management, during which he expressed his desire not to continue with the southern team.
Reports indicated Juventus's interest in signing Osimhen, alongside his former coach Antonio Conte, the current manager of Napoli, especially after the Nigerian striker's impressive performance this season, where he scored 36 goals in various competitions.
However, the website 'Football Italia' reported that Osimhen has completely closed the door on a move to Juventus, which increases the chances of both Arsenal and Manchester United in the race to sign him.
Osimhen has a release clause in his contract with Napoli worth 75 million euros, but it cannot be activated by Italian clubs, which benefits the interested English clubs.
Paris Saint-Germain is also still among the interested parties, looking to reshape their previous attacking partnership with Georgian star Kvaratskhelia, while Galatasaray has expressed a desire to keep him permanently if they do not receive suitable offers.
