Ancelotti: Barcelona Deserved the La Liga Title, and This is My Opinion on Hoisen
Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti appeared in a press conference to discuss tomorrow's match against Sevilla in the 37th round of La Liga at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium.
The coach said in his remarks: "We have always struggled at the Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium. Our goal is to finish the season well. There are two matches left. We performed well against Mallorca, and we need to perform well tomorrow as well."
He added: "I enjoy my remaining time on the Real Madrid bench, albeit in a different way, because we wanted to compete until the end for the league title. I will enjoy it until the last day, then prepare for a new challenge."
Regarding his son David: "He is an important part of my coaching staff, especially since we have a special father-son relationship. I trust him greatly, and he tells me things that others may not. The coaching staff is young and enthusiastic, and they make me think a lot. They are young but have experience. The club's analysis team is excellent, led by Simone. Real Madrid will enjoy this role in the future. We are one family, and working in a family environment highlights the abilities of each of us...
On losing La Liga: "It is part of football. Sometimes you cannot bring out the best in everyone. We must congratulate Barcelona on their great performance. They deserved the La Liga title, and next year will be different, with Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Atlético Madrid competing for the title."
On Real Madrid's new signing Dean Hoisen: "He is a wonderful player with great potential and high expectations. He is an excellent signing. All of Real Madrid's signings generate a lot of excitement because the team is always at its best. Last year, there was no plan to strengthen the squad, but injuries hurt us."
He added: "Regardless of injuries, are there reasons behind what happened this season? It is impossible to evaluate players like Valverde, Vinicius, Rodrigo, and Courtois today. I will never criticize those players who have brought me so much joy over the years."
Regarding the praise he receives from other coaches: "Well, well. It is clear that I have received a lot of affection from all my colleagues over the years. It is nice to have your work and character appreciated. I will enjoy these days."
He continued: "Do you think the club listened to you about making new signings? They listened to me. Since I have been here, they have signed Camavinga, Rudiger, Tchouaméni, Bellingham, and Mbappé."
On Mbappé's ability to win the Golden Shoe: "He is capable of scoring more than 40 goals in a season. I believe he can perform even better, but his first season with Real Madrid was very good."
He stated: "Would Real Madrid's season have changed if the club had made signings last January? We talked, and all the decisions made by the club were discussed. There is nothing more to add. Last year we faced the same problems and managed to fix them, but this year it has become a bit more complicated."
He emphasized: "The injuries we suffered in defense were one of the reasons for what happened to us this season. There were many injuries to very important players. We missed Militao, Alaba, Rudiger, Carvajal, and Mendy in the last La Liga clásico; the problem was there."
