Juventus Enters the Race to Sign Lee Kang-in

Thursday 25-06-2026
Juventus has placed South Korean player Lee Kang-in, a player for Paris Saint-Germain, among its offensive options during the summer transfer window, in anticipation of stalled negotiations with Real Madrid to sign Spaniard Brahim Diaz.

The 'Football Italia' website mentioned that Brahim Diaz remains Juventus' primary target to strengthen the attack line based on coach Luciano Spalletti's vision. However, recent indications suggest that the player prefers to stay with Real Madrid, prompting the Italian club to explore other alternatives.

Lee Kang-in emerges as one of the prominent names on Juventus' table, especially since Paris Saint-Germain might be ready to listen to offers for him this summer after his reduced starting appearances last season, having started only 18 matches across various competitions.

The South Korean international is contracted with Paris Saint-Germain until the summer of 2028, earning an annual salary estimated at around 4 million euros, a figure that does not pose a significant obstacle for Juventus should they decide to proceed with the deal.

The same source added that Juventus management already has an open negotiation channel with Paris Saint-Germain due to ongoing talks regarding Randal Kolo Muani, which could facilitate discussions on the possibility of signing Lee Kang-in in the upcoming period.

Despite Juventus' interest, the competition seems strong, as Atletico Madrid has reached a preliminary agreement with the player regarding his personal terms, while negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain have not yet reached a final agreement.
