Mohammed Al-Shalhoub, the interim coach of Al-Hilal Saudi Club, revealed his stance on taking over the coaching role for the team in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, which will be held in the United States.

Al-Shalhoub stated in his comments: "I am an interim coach, but at the same time, I am a professional coach, and every coach aspires for the best. This is a great opportunity for me, and I thank them for their trust. I am always at the service of the club, and this will increase my honor."

He added during the press conference: "It was three important points, and the players made a great effort against Al-Fateh. There were some forced changes, including the inclusion of Ali Al-Bulaihi."

He continued: "Al-Bulaihi was at the level of confidence, and Hassan Tembakti had a slight health issue. I congratulate the players for their effort and the result, and this is due to their performance in training."

He elaborated: "The second half was different, and I felt proud in managing the players present. The determination of the players was the reason for the comeback, and their effort was crowned with three points."

He added: "Every day we work with the players and correct mistakes, but there is no time. In the upcoming matches, we will improve, and today is better than previous matches."

He concluded his statements: "We were not at our usual level, and Al-Fateh is good at home and plays respectable football. The desire in the second half and the commitment made the team appear differently."
