Will Benzema be out for long? A physiotherapy expert reveals the initial diagnosis
Monday 12-05-2025
French star Karim Benzema, the striker for Al-Ittihad Club, suffered a sudden injury during the match against Al-Fayha, forcing him to leave the field before the end of the game.

Physiotherapy specialist Thamer Al-Shahrani confirmed that Benzema's injury needs a thorough evaluation, explaining that the preliminary diagnosis will determine its severity and the potential duration of his absence from the pitch.

If the injury is merely a muscle strain, the expected recovery period ranges from three to five days, which means the player could return quickly to participate with the team.

However, if the examinations reveal a muscle tear, the French star may require a treatment period extending from ten to fourteen days, or possibly longer, depending on the severity and location of the injury.

Al-Shahrani concluded his analysis by expressing optimism, suggesting that the injury might be minor, which enhances the chances of Karim Benzema's quick return to the field and regaining his physical fitness.
