Barcelona star Raphinha spoke in press statements after the victory over Real Madrid in the Clasico 4-3 in the 35th round of La Liga, at the Montjuïc Stadium.

The Brazilian star said: "We were aware of the importance of the Clasico. We had to stay calm to turn things in our favor."

He added: "It is hard to imagine scoring many goals in the Clasico. The playing style of both teams can lead to that. Anything is possible. The most important thing is to know how to defend in crucial moments."

He continued: "Was there more suffering than expected? Given the chances we wasted, perhaps so. Real Madrid's third goal made things more difficult. But we defended well."

He elaborated: "I could have scored more. I missed three chances that I shouldn't have. I have very high expectations of myself. I think about the goals I missed more than the goals I scored. But I am happy to help the team."

He emphasized: "I think it is a decisive victory; the decision is in our hands. We have to celebrate our win today. Clasico matches are very important. But we need to win another match to clinch the title."

Regarding winning the Man of the Match award: "I would like to nominate other players, because I did not deliver my best performance. Lamine Yamal, Szczesny, Kobarcy, Iñigo... or Pedri, whom I always consider the best player. I was below their level today."
