Barcelona star Pedri Gonzalez appeared in press statements after the victory over Real Madrid in the Clasico, winning 4-3 in the 35th round of La Liga, at the Montjuïc stadium.

The player said in his remarks: "I thought it would be a calmer and easier match, but it wasn't. We conceded an early goal, but we recovered."

He added: "There have been many matches where we started losing, but here the team changed wonderfully and knows how to change the results."

He continued: "I have a very good relationship with Raphinha; he's amazing, and I'm very happy for him. He puts in a lot of effort."

He followed up: "Losing the Champions League was a blow to us, but since our loss, the locker room has talked about it. Today was a final match, and now we await the next match to settle things."

He concluded: "We still have to do the necessary work and try to win the match against Espanyol. Flick told us that there would be a break, and everyone has already erupted with joy."
