Bayern Munich Player: This is the Toughest Season of My Career
The Portuguese midfielder João Palhinha spoke about his first season with the German team coming from Fulham in England.
The player stated: "This has been the toughest season of my career. The injury [in November] did not help me. But now I am in excellent physical condition."
He continued: "I want, and I must, show what I can do; it is up to me. I have learned a lot in my first season, and this is not the first time I have had to come out of a difficult situation."
He added: "One matures from situations like this. From my personal perspective, my first and foremost goal for the upcoming season is to prove my worth to this club."
