Toni Kroos discussed Barcelona's exit from the UEFA Champions League semi-finals at the hands of Inter, after a 3-3 draw in the first leg and then a loss in the second leg with a score of 4-3, and he also touched on Lamine Yamal.

Kroos said: "I don't want to say that I'm an Inter fan, but maybe ten years at Real Madrid have really influenced me, as I have become more opposed to Barcelona."

He added: "In some aspects, I was a bit excited for Inter, and I was happy when the score became 3-3 in the second leg."

He continued: "Inter and Barcelona are characterized by a high level of collective and individual performance. It’s amazing how they played from the 45th minute, or even throughout the second half, against an opponent that excels in defense, but they managed to find spaces and reach the goal. This is one of the things that surprised me about Barcelona, the weakness of Inter's defense against them, not just in this match, but in both matches."

Regarding Yamal, he concluded: "Dribbling is indeed difficult, but when Lamine cuts the ball inside and decides to pass when everyone expects him to dribble, it makes it difficult for defenders. He always finds the right pass to move forward and come back to receive the ball again."
