Electricity Club goalkeeper Mohamed Ahmed expressed his sadness over the loss his team suffered against Zakho with a score of three goals, during the 32nd round of the Iraqi Stars League, confirming that the team was not at its best, but he pointed to the determination to compensate in the future.
He said: "We faced a tough match against an organized team with influential players. We tried to give our best, but we made some mistakes that Zakho capitalized on well."
He continued: "We aimed to achieve a positive result, but we were not successful, and we will work on reviewing what happened to avoid it in the upcoming matches."
He added: "Despite the loss, we still have important matches in the league, and we will fight until the end to improve our position."
He concluded: "We have an excellent coaching staff led by Captain Rady Shneishil, and we will regain our balance quickly, God willing."
