Wednesday 07-05-2025
A report has revealed that Portuguese player Bruno Fernandes rejected the offer made by Al-Hilal for a contract during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Al-Hilal aims to strengthen its squad before competing in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

The newspaper "Asharq Al-Awsat" reported that Fahd bin Nafel, the president of Al-Hilal, met with Bruno Fernandes' agents last Monday and presented a financial offer for the player for three years, in addition to covering the release clause of £60 million to break his contract with his current club.

The newspaper added that the player's agents rejected the offer made by Al-Hilal but promised to sit down with the player to understand all his requests in order to bridge the gap between the two parties.

The newspaper also stated that this meeting was not the first, as Al-Hilal officials previously met with Bruno Fernandes' agents in London to gauge the player's interest in joining the Saudi Roshen League.

It indicated that Al-Hilal's management will hold a third meeting with the player's agents to finalize the deal or dismiss it.
